The safari drives are the reason we're all here. Our guides are the ranger Busani and tracker Mousa. They take great care of us over the next four nights.

Finally, the safari. We stayed on the Phinda reserve in the Kwa-Zulu Natale region, at the Zuka lodge. Zuka has only 4 rooms, so by booking 3 of them we had the lodge to ourselves. Private game drives, butler, and chef.

Finally, we arrived. We're staying in the Cape Heritage hotel, right in the middle of town. After a quick breakfast, we meet up with Pam of Cape Fusion tours. This is our third trip hanging with Pam. First up is a food tour of the city.
